Vermont State Society’s Annual Town Meeting Day Gathering: ‘The Full Vermonty’

Tuesday, March 6 | Attendance is free but registration is requested.

The annual Town Meeting Day gathering of the Vermont State Society will feature authors Bill Mares and Jeff Danziger, who will discuss their hilarious new book: The Full Vermonty: Vermont in the Age of Trump.

Mares – a journalist, high school teacher and member of the VT House of Representatives – and Danziger – a political cartoonist, author and former U.S. Army intelligence officer – have decided to write their own Vermont answer to the presidency of Donald Trump. With the help of almost a score of guest appearances, they have assembled a first-rate “posse” of Vermont writers, cartoonists and politicians to add their intelligence and wit to this momentous task.

Also joining the conversation with be one of the book’s guest contributors, Stephen Terry – a former journalist and energy executive, who is a long-time contributor to public affairs in Vermont.
